Hawaii Montessori Schools – Kamuela Campus will hold an Open House on Monday, February 6th, 5:00 – 7:00 pm.

Families of current and prospective students between the ages of 15 months – 6 years old are invited to attend an Open House from 5:00 – 7:00 pm., on Monday, February 6th at 64-1058 Mamalahoa Hwy, Kamuela. Families will have an be able to visit classrooms, meet current families, learn about the school and its programs, including financial aid opportunities, and meet faculty members and administration

Hawaii Montessori Schools has been part of the West Hawaii community since 1980. The school provides quality education for children ages 15 months through 6 years of age using the principles and methods of Dr. Maria Montessori. The classroom environments are well prepared and allow the children to develop at their own speed, according to each child’s own capacities in a non-competitive atmosphere. Learning takes place through the child’s own discovery and experience. 12th Annual Keiki WinterFest and Silent Auction

Families can kick off the holiday season at our 12th Annual Keiki WinterFest at the Keauhou Shopping Center on Saturday, December 3rd, 10:00 am-1:30 pm. Pre-Sale Coupon Books are available at Hawai’i Montessori Schools Kona & Kamuela Campuses and Los Habaneros – Keauhou Shopping Center.

The event will begin with the Hawai’i Montessori Students’ Holiday Performance at 10:00 am. Children can chose to make an assortment of festive crafts at the craft tables, win prizes at a variety of everyone-wins game booths, play in a party bouncer, slide down a 20ft slide, make their way through an obstacle course, have their face and hair painted and can enjoy horseback rides. The whole family will enjoy browsing the sweets and savories at a sumptuous bake sale as well as the various vendors and businesses of the Keauhou Shopping Center. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be making a special appearance.

Hawai’i Montessori Schools will be hosting the “Desserts” booth at the Kona Coffee Marketplace–Festival of Artists and Ethnic Foods. Come and join us and other community groups as we offer a variety of ethnic foods and crafts at the Makaeo County Pavilion (Old Airport Events Pavilion) on Saturday, November 12th, 9:30a-3:30p

Attendees will also have a chance to enjoy Hawaiian soulful recording artist Paula Fuga for a 90-minute concert. Paula will be accompanied by Michael Love, guitarist.

A $3 Festival button is required for attendance and will be sold at Makaeo County Pavilion.

Hallowe’en Fun at the West Hawai’i ‘Ohana Expo

An event not be missed, come and join us that the 2nd Annual West Hawai’i ‘Ohana Expo at the Hilton Waikoloa Village 10:00a – 4:00p this Saturday, October 29th. There will be a Hallowe’en Costume Contest, keiki games including a baby crawling contest, entertainment, crafts, exhibits and more.

Join Us This Sunday at the Kokua Kailua Village Stroll and enjoy the musical stylings of Paula Fuga

Join us this Sunday, September 18th at the Kokua Kailua Village Stroll. We’ll be giving away goody bags and balloons for the kids. This Sunday there will also be an additional concert by Paula Fuga from 5-6 pm. If you didn’t know, one Sunday each month from 1pm-6pm, Alii Drive becomes a festive pedestrian-only marketplace with music, artists, shopping, and restaurants. Thousands of residents and visitors are discovering Kokua Kailua is an ideal way to enjoy all Historic Kailua Village has to offer.

Annual Benefit Lū‘au at the Anna Ranch Heritage Center benefiting Hawai‘i Montessori Schools – Kamuela Campus Sunday, September 11, 2011 • 11:00 am – 3:00 pm

The Hawai‘i Montessori Schools Kamuela PTO invites you to join us on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the Anna Ranch Heritage Center for our Annual Lū‘au Benefit.

The event will begin at 11:00 a.m.  There will be lei making activities for the children, demonstrations by the Ranch’s Craftsmen, a Hula performance by the Hawai‘i Montessori School Students, live entertainment, a no-host bar and a fabulous silent auction featuring items from around the state and the mainland.

Tickets will be available for purchase in Kamuela at Hawai‘i Montessori Schools – Kamuela Campus, Mama’s House Thrift Store, Kamuela Liquor and in Kona at Hawai‘i Montessori Schools – Kona Campus.  Cost is Adults: $30.00, Children 3 – 12 years: $15.00.  Children under 3 are free with paid adult. To purchase tickets please call Becky Watkins at 885-7683 or drop by the office at Hawai‘i Montessori School located at 64-1058 Mamalahoa Hwy next to the Big Island Brewhaus.
